Sensory-Friendly Family Events


Families with children who have sensory processing challenges, like those on the Autism spectrum, are invited to the Nasher for customized experiences intended to engage, nurture, and educate all types of learners.

As part of the Dallas Sensory Consortium, the Nasher Sculpture Center hosts annual events, with content offered by partner institutions (Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas Zoo, Dallas Public Library, Frontiers of Flight Museum, Texas Woman's University), and also participates at sensory events with constituent partners. Texas Woman’s University professors and graduate students lend their expertise in planning and facilitating events to ensure a positive experience for all.
