The Great Create Packages & Tickets

You're invited to The Great Create 2022 on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at the Nasher Sculpture Center.

Each year, The Great Create transforms the Nasher Garden into an interactive, art-filled space for kids and families. Children can put their hands to work in engaging projects led by artists from North Texas and beyond, as well as enjoy live entertainment and kid-friendly food. Proceeds from The Great Create directly benefit the Nasher Sculpture Center, bolstering the museum’s efforts to provide outstanding education programs. Collectively, these programs reach tens of thousands of children, students, and families each year.

When and where is The Great Create 2022?

The Great Create 2022 will be held at the Nasher Sculpture Center in the Dallas Arts District. (The address is 2001 Flora St., Dallas, TX 75201.) The big day takes place on Sunday, October 23.

What happens at The Great Create?

The Great Create is a day of family, fun, and art-making, all in support of a great cause. Professional artists from North Texas and beyond host art-making stations, each with a one-of-a-kind project, throughout the Nasher Garden. There’s music, a dance floor, and other fun activities as well. The galleries are open, so you and your family can explore the current exhibition together. And family-friendly sandwiches, snacks, and drinks will be available for all attendees (as well as beer and wine for the adults). All activities, food, and drinks are included in the price of your family underwriting package or ticket.

Do children need a ticket to The Great Create?

Children three and older are required to have a ticket to The Great Create. Children two and under attend for free with a paying adult. Proceeds from family underwriting packages and tickets support the Nasher’s education programs.

Will I receive physical tickets for the event?

No. When you arrive, you’ll check in with event staff at the Nasher. There, you’ll receive your event program, and children will each receive their t-shirts and tote bags.

What’s the parking situation?

You will have several options to park on the day of The Great Create. Complimentary valet will be available at the Nasher throughout the afternoon. If you are a Nasher Member, you are entitled to free self-parking, subject to availability, at the Dallas Museum of Art garage. Finally, you can also self-pay to park at the Trammell Crow Center parking garage, just across the street from the Nasher.

What does VIP Early Entry include?

Family underwriters and sponsors at the Bronze Builders ($1,200) level and above can start the party early, as well as enjoy an extra activity by one of the featured artists, at The Great Create.
