Each year, the Nasher Sculpture Center’s education programs – workshops, tours, school partnerships, and more – impact thousands of children, students, and families. And each year, The Great Create raises funds to keep these much-needed programs vibrant and accessible.
Here’s how your support of The Great Create makes a difference:
Tours
The Nasher offers virtual field trips and tours to thousands of students each year at no cost. Transportation and art supply scholarships are available to those classes who would not otherwise be able to participate
HopeKids at the Nasher
HopeKids Art Experience Days provide museum tours and interactive art activities for children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Outreach
The Nasher is committed to bringing high-quality arts experiences to members of our community who face barriers to visiting the museum in person..
Sensory-Friendly Family Events
Through Sensory-Friendly Days, visitors with sensory processing challenges are able to experience the Nasher in a safe and quiet environment.
Free First Saturdays
An event for all ages every first Saturday of the month, this program welcomes visitors with free admission and opportunities to sketch, create and discover art. Families can make new memories each month with a rotating schedule of guest artists and activities.
Nasher Summer Institute for Teens
This intensive program designed for students interested in pursuing careers in museums and the visual arts includes behind-the-scenes museum experiences, sessions with art-world professionals, and hands-on studio projects.
