The Nasher Magazine

Read the latest issue of the Nasher Sculpture Center's magazine, The Nasher.  Editorial features include essays on the current exhibition A Tradition of Revolution and the place of sound art in museums,  as well as visual contributions from artists Pedro Reyes, Tauba Auerbach, Morehshin Allahyari, and more.

A Tradition of Revolution, featuring works from the Nasher’s  permanent  collection,  ranging  from  the  beginnings  of  Modernism  in  the  work  of  Rodin,  Gauguin,  and  others,  to experiments  of  the  present  day,  including works  never  before  seen  at  the  Nasher  and several  recent  acquisitions by artists such as Phyllida Barlow and Julian Hoeber. 

Explore recent gifts to the Nasher collection by the Guerilla Girls, Bosco Sodi and Joshua Neustein, and read a memorial tribute to the local, internationally recognized art historian and curator, William B. Jordan.  

Also in this issue, Assistant Curator Leigh Arnold continues her exploration of public sculpture in Dallas, uncovering new insights about Linnea Glatt’s downtown work, Harrow. Readers are also treated to an in-depth look at two beloved Texas artists’ 20-year relationship with Japan.
